The World Haidong Gumdo Federation
Championships are sub-divided into three categories,
World Championships, National Championships
and Regional Championships.
The world championships are held every 2 years,
and they are organized and governed by the
World Haidong Gumdo Federation. |

The continental
championships among the countries belonging to same
continent such as Africa, Europe, Americas and Oceania
are organized and governed by the World Haidong
Gumdo Federation.
The national and regional championships are held
in years when world championships are not held.
They are organized and governed by the local Haidong
Gumdo federations.
The participants will be grouped according to the
age, level, and team sizes, and will compete in
categories based on normal training such as Gumbup,
gyukgum or cutting.
The competitions are designed to be challenging
but enjoyable for all participants.
The details of the World Championships are determined
by the World Haidong Gumdo Federation and the details
of regional championship regulations are determined
by the organizing federations responsible for organizing
them. |

The World Haidong Gumdo
Federation creates the organizational committee
and the championship regulations.
The world championships are held every 2 years.
They are global festivals where all Haidong
Gumdo practitioners, leaders, executives,
friends and families gather together to develop
friendship and a sense of community. |

Championship |
The organization
committee and the championship regulations
will be forms by the World Haidong Gumdo Federation.
The continental championships are held in
the years when World Haidong Gumdo Championships
are not held. The competitors of Asia, America,
Oceania, Europe and Africa will gather in
their regions to compete and celebrate together. |
| National Championships |
The national Haidong Gumdo Federation
of a country creates the organizational committee
and the championship regulations for national
scale Haidong Gumdo championships in which
all practitioners of the country may participate.

Championships |
A regional Haidong Gumdo Federation under
a national federation creates the organization
committee and the championship regulations
for regional scale Haidong Gumdo championships
in which all local practitioners may participate.
